Privacy
Korea Live Cam is a directory of public live streams. You can watch every camera without an account, and we would rather not hold your data at all. This page lists everything we do hold.
What we collect
Nothing, if you only watch. Browsing the cameras creates no account and no profile.
If you write to us through the contact form: your email address, your message, an optional name, and an optional file you attach. The email address is required so we can answer you.
If you post on the board: the display name and text you type. You can post as a guest. If you would rather sign in, we send a one-time link to your email address and store that address so the link works.
To stop spam: a one-way scramble of your IP address. We do not keep the address itself and cannot turn the scramble back into one. It only lets us notice that the same source is posting too fast.
Visitor counts: how many people are on the site and how many visited today. These are plain numbers with no address attached.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which cameras they watch, so we know what to add. It is switched off until you accept it in the notice at the bottom of the screen. Decline and it stays off. We do not run ads, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell anything to anyone.
YouTube
Every camera plays inside YouTube's own player. When it loads, YouTube can set its own cookies and see that you opened the page, exactly as if you had visited YouTube directly. That part is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. We never receive your video history and we store no footage.
How long we keep it
Messages you send us are kept until the matter is settled and then deleted. Board posts stay until you or we remove them. The scrambled IP used for spam limits is deleted after a day. Visitor counts are kept for ninety days. Analytics data follows Google's retention setting.
Who else sees it
Only the people who run this site. We use Vercel to serve the pages, Supabase to store the database, and Google Analytics as described above. We do not sell or trade personal data, and there is no advertising network on this site.
Getting your data removed
Write to us through the contact form and ask. Tell us what to remove — a message, a board post, or your email address — and we will delete it and confirm. You do not need to give a reason.
If you run a channel listed here and want your stream taken off the site, the same form works and we will remove it.
Cookies
Three kinds. One remembers whether you accepted analytics. One keeps you signed in, if you chose to sign in. The rest belong to YouTube's player. Clearing your browser data removes all of them, and the analytics notice will ask again on your next visit.
Changes
If we start collecting something new, this page changes first. Last updated 22 August 2026.
