Marado is the southernmost point of South Korea, a small flat island off the coast of Seogwipo on Jeju. Ferries run to it from Moseulpo harbour when the sea allows, and the crossing is often cancelled in rough weather. This camera looks out from the Seogwipo coast toward the water, so it doubles as a way to judge whether boats are likely to be running.
