Sokcho sits at the northern end of Gangwon province, close to the demilitarised zone and at the foot of Seoraksan National Park. The beach runs along the East Sea with the mountains visible inland on clear days. The city is a fishing port as well as a resort, and the harbour market is a short distance from this stretch of sand. This camera looks out over the water.
