Hanbit Square is the open plaza at Expo Science Park in Daejeon, built for the 1993 Taejon Expo. The tower at its centre, Hanbit Tower, was the expo's landmark and still stands over the square. Daejeon is Korea's research city, home to KAIST and a cluster of government institutes, and the park area was rebuilt as a science and culture complex. This camera looks across the plaza toward the tower.
